About the author

My name is Ryan Donahue. I’m an entrepreneur, and when I have time, an interaction designer.

I was a founding member of the PayPal design and user research group, and played a key role in defining the customer experience for many of PayPal’s most successful products from 2000-2005. I created PayPal’s field research program and traveled internationally conducting payments-focused research.

Today, I devote my time to my new startup (still stealth, thus no link just yet) and running my consultancy. I also like to keep up-to-date on the evolution of the online payments industry.

I still live in my home town of Palo Alto, California.
